Eastview Veterinary Clinic is open Monday through Saturday for routine and sick animal visits.  Surgeries are scheduled Monday through Friday and evening office hours are available Monday through Thursday.  Annual physical exams are recommended for both dogs and cats to update vaccinations and do a fecal exam for parasites.  To view photos, click here.  If your pet is going to a boarding kennel, be sure to check their vaccination requirements well before the time comes to leave your pet.  Many require the Bordetella (kennel cough) vaccine which is not a normally recommended yearly vaccination.

Many other items can also be toxic to dogs, cats, birds and other pets.  These include common pain relievers such as acetaminophen, ibuprofen and naproxen sodium as well as food items such as chocolate.  Pets’ diets should always be limited to an appropriate pet food but, should they ingest something different from that, be sure to check with your veterinarian if you have any concerns.
